We were over at the Empress Ale House on Whyte a few days ago and I found this flier at the bar. Friends of the late, great, much beloved Joe Bird have set up an award for Edmonton musicians in his honor, and we think that’s pretty cool. As you can see, criteria for the award has yet to be determined, but if you’d like to donate, you can do so through the Theatre Network.
