August 19 Hump day Headlines

For some reason, hump day makes me think of morning radio back in the early 90s. I think those DJs must have loved screaming about hump day or something.

But enough delving into the past and trying to find clues to the meaning of life, let’s do some headlining.

I’m going to start with something that caught my eye. The Journal had this headline, about Police Commission member Dennis Anderson sounding off on mental health plans: Mental-patient plan slammed. While 630 CHED/iNews880 billboarded the story The new norm when it comes to mental health.  This is a good time to mention you should always try to find more than one version of the story, since it can be interpreted in different ways by different reporters.
