Edmonton’s November 2 Headlines

Edmonton-7,780Was anyone else caught off-guard by the amount of sunlight this morning? Was anyone caught off-guard by the fact the clocks went back one hour? I’ll admit it took me a minute to remember why it was so bright when I woke up this morning.

Looks like the H1N1 vaccine story keeps going. First, everyone is supposed to get a shot. Then, in a matter of days we were told to let the usual high-risk people (seniors, kids, people with pre-existing medical issues) get the shots, then the clinics were just closed. Now we hear everyone will get a shot (eventually).

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were door-to-door shots tomorrow, with no shots by Thursday. Plan much?

I’m pretty sure that by the end of next week, they’ll be giving the homeless bows & arrows and large pots of Tamiflu. The city will pay them money to walk around and randomly shoot people with arrows dipped in the vaccine

I’m not saying that’s a good idea. But at least you appear to have a plan.

UofA “Sooo, last time we quadrupled tuition, but THIS time, oh this time we’ll plan.”

    I should like to laugh.
