Edmonton Headlines – November 24

Good day to you, Edmonton.

Albertans may be holding onto their money, except when it comes to this kind of thing.

Albertans may be holding onto their money, except when it comes to this kind of thing.

Anybody out there, like me, looking in from the outside on all this foursquare action? Seems I should look at upgrading to a smartphone. But really, is this enough to warrant it? Surely I’d make a list of all the other things I could do with a better phone. This wouldn’t be enough to make me buy a new phone, would it?

Sounds like the H1N1 shot lines aren’t as crazy-bananas as the first go-round. See how much better things go with a little planning, Alberta Health Services.

I have to laugh (but not in a funny ha-ha kind of way) that CTV is reporting the city is looking to cut snow removal service. I don’t doubt there are ways to improve the efficiency of our curent system, thus saving a few bucks. I do doubt that Canada’s northernmost provincial capital isn’t the place to cut anything related to winter. Duh.
