From the Winner’s Circle
Ah, we have some fun, don’t we, INTERNETS? Like, remember that time we had a contest? And remember how that Deja Springfield guy won it? Good times. Anyway, Deja (who was supposed to get a picture of himself with the gift card so all of us could enjoy his winning-ness) sent us this email last night:
“I decided to celebrate my win by going back in time to 1997 and using the $25 to barter a trip to the West Coast Trail ($25 was a lot of money back then! Also, large sideburns were VERY cool).”
So let’s sit back and relax, and be transported to a simpler time. The year was 1997; scientists announced the successful cloning of Dolly the sheep; Rapper Notorious B.I.G. was killed in a drive by shooting; and Deja Springfield had crazy giant sideburns.
Seriously, dude, I like to look at this picture and imagine you’re backpacking through time, hoping that your next leap will be the leap home. Whatever you do, don’t panic.
